Exchange of fire on in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar | KNO

Srinagar, January 23 (KNO) : The armies of India and Pakistan Wednesday exchange fire in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar after Pakistan reportedly violated the ceasefire in the area. Sources told KNO that heavy firing is going on from both the sides in Mankote area of Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar. The exchange of fire after ceasefire violation by reportedly by Pakistan is taking place frequently from past several days while as scores of troopers died while other sustained injuries in the exchange of fire so far. Governor Satya Pal Malik had also expressed concern over the ceasefire violation, saying that by resorting to ceasefire along LoC, Pakistan is expressing its frustration over peaceful atmosphere across the State.(KNO)
